We headed off on Thursday afternoon. It rained all the way to the island turn off and then the weather lifted and we were able to setup without getting wet
We had a lovely dinner at the Pub and watched the sunset
On the Friday morning we met Zac, Brooke, Marley and Harriet for breakfast at the Kilcunda General store for a delicious breakfast to celebrate Zacs birthday. We also had a lovely walk along the cliff tops at Kilcunda
Friday afternoon saw Hil and Tim arrive, then Kerrie and Ross.
The weather was beautiful on Saturday. We went for a lovely walk along the beach.
Breakfast in the sunshine with the Magpies
Saturday saw us cook food in our van for the very first time. Toasted sandwich in the electric fry pan.
Sunday was wet but we still had fun. Lunch at the RSL and a visit to the Vietnam Museum. BLT for dinner and a game in the Phillips van (thanks Hil)
we even had everyone in our van, trying to find the hot water switch (which is on the back of the hot water service under the bed)
The weather wasn’t great on Sunday, wet and cold. Luckily we had two heaters.
The wifi was great.
Our site was an artificial grass site which was great, no dirt in the van. We didn’t put the awning up as it was pretty windy and we didn’t plan on sitting outside.
The toilet and showers weren’t too far to walk and were very nice and newly renovated.
We didn’t use the camp kitchen or fire pit but they looked great.
Lots of bunnies everywhere at night.
